What the free plan really gives you, what it holds back, and when paying is actually worth it.

The free plan is not a countdown. It has no end date, it does not ask for a card, and a bot built on it keeps answering for as long as you leave it connected.

What you can build for nothing

Seven block types come with the free plan: Trigger, Text, Buttons, Menu, Image, Delay and Link Button. That is enough for a greeting, a menu of options, a small FAQ tree, an opening-hours reply, a photo of the menu, and a button through to your website. Plenty of working bots never need more.

What the free plan does not include

Ten block types stay on Pro: Condition, Loop, API Call, Set Variable, the five storage blocks and Reminder. Live chat takeover and broadcasts are Pro as well. If your idea needs branching logic, a table of data, a call to another service or a message sent later, that is the line you will meet.

Nothing is metered

No plan counts the messages your bot sends or the people it talks to. A free bot that answers a thousand people in a week costs the same as one that answers three. The single paced feature is broadcasts: up to 30 sends an hour, each message up to 2,000 characters, with the counts of delivered and failed messages recorded for each one.

The 14-day trial

Connecting your first bot starts a 14-day Pro trial. It begins at that moment, not at sign-up, so you can look around the dashboard first and start the clock when you are ready to build. No card is needed to start it.

When the trial ends the account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: your flows stay, your collections and rows stay, and the flow you keep marked as active goes on replying. Flows that use Pro blocks pause until the plan allows them again.

When paying is worth it

Upgrade when you hit one of these, not before:

• You need a second bot, or a second flow for a different command.
• Your conversation needs to branch on what someone said.
• You want the bot to remember something — an order, a code, a preference.
• You want to answer somebody yourself, mid-conversation.
• You want to send an announcement to everyone who has used the bot.

Pro costs less than half of what most Telegram bot builders charge.

Getting the most out of a single flow

The tightest constraint on the free plan is having one flow, but a flow is a tree, not a straight line, and 15 blocks go further than they sound. A few habits help:

• Make the trigger earn its place. With one flow you pick one way in. A Menu block behind /start gives people several paths without spending a second trigger.
• Branch with buttons rather than logic. Each button on a Buttons block has its own output, so a three-way choice costs one block plus the replies.
• Send people onward with a Link Button. A booking page, a price list or a form lives better on your site than inside a 500-character message.
• Keep replies short. Two crisp messages read better on a phone than one that runs to the character ceiling.
• Use an image where words would sprawl. A photo of the menu or the map answers faster than a paragraph.
